Our marae are a cultural treasure in New Zealand, but many are struggling to maintain their facilities and others need to grow. Marae DIY is truly an iconic show for New Zealand.  With an impressive fourteen series under our belt, the DIY series has now renovated 100 marae around the country, bringing Māori communities together for over a decade. Marae DIY is the show that draws together the whānau (and now) the community to renovate the marae, in just 4 days.  The strings that bind the show are aroha & tangata whenua.And we’re coming back for series 15 on Māori Television later in the year with a new sustainable theme in the spirit of kaitiakitanga.
