We have a range of mix stages to cater to all the modern day formats including, 7.1.2 theatrical mixes, Dolby ATMOS home entertainment mixes, stereo web mixes that will sound great on any platform. We have all the mixing options you need to cover the constantly evolving landscape of playback environments and international distribution requirements.
SOUND EDITORIAL
Every project is different and deserves a unique, original and detailed soundtrack to accompany the picture. The sound editorial process can take anywhere from one week to six months. We tailor our sound editorial package to match your project’s requirements with specialised dialogue editing, SFX editing, ADR, loop group, foley and sound design.
SOUND DESIGN
An oft misused term; its definition changes depending on your continent, and/or your medium, and/or your whim! Whether it’s creating the roar of a spaceship taking off, the scream of a deranged bat monster, the boom of an exploding planet or simply recording the natural ambience of a native forest in Aotearoa, no worries, we can help you out. In short, if you want some sound, we’ll design it!

We have Auckland’s largest ADR stage, kitted out with all the standard ADR microphones, Source Connect and phone patch to link you in, wherever you are in the world. foreign language dubbing

Whether you're localising a film or TV show, our skilled team of engineers ensure that every line is perfectly matched to the lip movements, tone, and emotion of your original production. Some of our most notable dub projects include Lion King Reo Māori, Shrek - Kātahi Te Korokē and Moana 2 Reo Māori — the first indigenous-language Disney animated feature in the world to premiere alongside the English version.
crowd/loop group
Specialising in creating dynamic, immersive soundscapes, our team of expert recording engineers captures the subtle nuances of crowd reactions and background chatter. Whether for film, TV, video games or interactive media, we use advanced recording techniques to create a realistic and lively crowd backgrounds that bring your project to life. Our 140m³ ADR stage is perfect for groups of up to 10 actors, from quiet whispers to large-scale monster battle scenes.
FOLEY
Foley is a dark art - when you mute the foley track the sound falls off the screen. An unsung hero, great foley will go unnoticed by your audience, but the subtle nuance of the clinks, scrapes, feet and cloth are key for a realistic soundtrack. Our foley stage is purpose built with ample pits and props, and a 150” screen to perform to.
SOUND SUPERVISION
Managing the sound post workflow can be complex and time-consuming. Often this role is taken care of by the Supervising Sound Editor. Those hours quickly add up, taking away from the creative process. For that very purpose we run things differently, with dedicated project supervision ensuring our clients’ needs are met without detracting from editorial and mix time.
